To reach the Lac du Crozet, you must start your adventure at Pré Raymond, a parking area located at an altitude of 1,370 meters. If you are a fan of breathtaking panoramas, prepare to put your calves to the test! As soon as you arrive, follow the clearly visible signs that are right at the start of the parking area, and let yourself be guided by the chestnut tree paths through the forest. Don’t forget: a good pair of hiking shoes is a must, otherwise your feet might regret this bold choice!

If you thought climbing to the Lac du Crozet would be a walk in the park, think again. The ascent takes place on a fairly steep path that could turn your calves into real bombs! It is a moderately to highly difficult hike, but it is worth it for the spectacular view that awaits you at the top. Be prepared for a bit of cardio, especially after winter, when motivation isn’t always there.
