Inauguration of the brand new school restaurant at Delaplanne school in Thor

A breeze of freshness and a new breath have arrived at Delaplanne school in Thor with the inauguration of its brand new school cafeteria. This brand new restaurant, whose construction was the result of an ambitious project, will welcome young food lovers in a modern and warm environment. Students will no longer have to travel far for lunch, and that is excellent news for the little appetites of champions!

A bright and functional space

The new cafeteria, with its 139 m² dedicated to the dining area, is designed to offer around 120 children a pleasant setting where they can enjoy delicious meals. Thanks to its natural light and modern layout, this space has been thought out to stimulate the appetites of young gastronomes. For those wondering if the meals would be in “classic cafeteria mode,” rest assured! It resembles more of a friendly brasserie than a simple school kitchen.

A project supported by the municipality

Invested with over one million euros, this project received a grant of 194,000 euros from the State. What a joy to see public funds wisely invested for our dear young ones! The municipality, led by Jean-Christian Grimaud, has worked passionately to improve the daily lives of the students, because a good meal = a good student, as is well known.
