Access
To begin your adventure, you will need to head to the Col d’Izoard. It is easily accessible from Briançon via the D902. Once at the pass, parking is available for you: ideal for parking without a worry, just like after a movie marathon at home!
Details on Difficulty
Adventurous friends, get ready to sweat! The ascent of Pic de Rochebrune is reserved for experienced hikers. With some quite technical passages and an ascent that will make you feel like a space caver, this hike is not for beginners armed only with their water bottle and a chocolate bar. For the bold, the reward waiting for you at the top is simply breathtaking!
Regulations
Before putting on your hiking boots, keep in mind that you are in a protected natural area. Please respect the marked trails, those precious paths that even a GPS might envy. Do not disturb the local wildlife, and above all, keep your waste to collect it on your return. Eating a sandwich at the top is a great idea, but leaving behind the aluminum foil is not cool!
