Access to the Summit of Géruen
To reach this fabulous Summit of Géruen rising to 1880 meters, head towards the small village of Authon. Once in Authon, park your vehicle in the parking lot near the trailhead. From there, get ready to put on your hiking boots and face nature. The first steps take place on marked paths turning yellow, so don’t panic, you won’t get lost. As you warm up a bit on the trail, you start to get used to the ascent and already imagine the panoramic view awaiting you.

Itinerary
The itinerary starts in Authon, where you take the marked trail towards the Col de Fontbelle. The hike first ascends through the forest, guiding you along the Géruen ridge. Don’t hesitate to take a few breaks to enjoy the view; it’s almost a duty. Before reaching the ridge, be prepared to cross a small ford, we are not here to soak our toes!
From the ridge, the path becomes slightly stony, so watch your step, especially to avoid tripping like an unlucky adventurer! Following the ridge, you will be rewarded with the breathtaking view that awaits you at the summit. The descent follows a marked PR path again, allowing you to admire a portion of the route from a different angle.
