All good things require a little effort! The hike to La Colette and Piégu is classified as easy to moderate. With a duration of about 3 hours and 30 minutes and a distance of 11.5 km, you will need a bit of courage to conquer these summits. Beware of steep slopes, especially in the final stretch towards La Colette, where a gust of effort is felt. But don’t panic, even occasional hikers can manage it with a smile!

Before you leave, here are some practical details to consider: the starting altitude is 655 m, and you will reach a maximum altitude of 1090 m at the summit of La Colette. The altitude variation, although manageable, makes this route all the more exhilarating. Remember to bring water and snacks, as the only femme-fatale moment is still at the bottom of your backpack when the urge to grab a cereal bar strikes.

For budding adventurers, a simple route awaits you: Depart by following the marked path towards La Colette. Once you reach the summit, the panorama is absolutely breathtaking – photo required to prove your achievements! Then, continue towards Piégu by taking the descending path on the right, where a lack of signage should not discourage you. Keep an eye on the surrounding nature, as it has everything to please: wooded paths, fresh air, and perhaps a curious deer. You will thus enjoy a pleasant loop while descending.
