To reach Mont Fleuri (2511m), start your journey from Les Confins. Take the road from Annecy passing through Thônes and La Clusaz. Once you arrive, park your vehicle at the Arpettaz parking lot. Ready for adventure? Yes, because you’re not here to nap in the sun!

Classified as a moderately easy hike, the ascent offers breathtaking landscapes. The exposed sections can make your heart race, but don’t dance on the rocks just yet: they are never very technical. Expect about 1230m of elevation gain, which is enough to make you aware of your physical condition (or its absence, if that’s the case).

Nothing too serious, but keep in mind that access to certain areas may be regulated, especially during the bird breeding season. So, check the signs and don’t hesitate to ask locals, even if the grumpy reputation of the mountain guardians remains a mystery.

Essential Information

Before hitting the trail, here are some tips to slip into your backpack: bring good hiking gear, water to avoid dehydrating like a plant in the middle of the desert, and snacks for the little hunger pangs that arise at the summit.
